Amtrak Update - Coyote Mountain Slide

Just received an email from Amtrak, in reponse to my query as to the reopening of the Coyote Mountain Slide on Union Pacific (Espee's Natron Cutoff.)

Dear Robert McDonald:

Thank you for contacting us. The information you requested is as follows:

COAST STARLIGHT RESUMES THROUGH SERVICE EFFECTIVE ON THE DATES SHOWN BELOW, TRAINS 11/14, THE COAST STARLIGHT, WILL RESUME THROUGH OPERATION BETWEEN LOS ANGELES AND SEATTLE.

TRAIN 11 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, SEATTLE TO LOS ANGELES.

TRAIN 14 - TUESDAY, MAY 6, LOS ANGELES TO SEATTLE.

BUS 3014 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, FIRST DATE OF OPERATION BETWEEN KLAMATH FALLS AND PASCO, CONNECTION BETWEEN TRAINS 14 AND 28.

WORK IS STILL CONTINUING ON THE LINE BETWEEN CHEMULT AND EUGENE AND DELAYS AND CHANGES ARE STILL POSSIBLE, BUT CANNOT BE ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
